An Update

We hope you’ve been able to have a look at our website and make note of what we have to offer. Websites are always a work in progress and while ours is no different, I’ve removed the caveat that “we’re still under construction.”

We’ve accomplished a few things since our last blog post. We’ve initiated a new Facebook group where we can make timely announcements, and exchange road rally information with like-minded enthusiasts, beginners and experts from around the world. Look up the Road Rally Development Group and join in.

We’ve also added the first draft of our road rally manual entitled “Road Rallying in Maritime Canada.” This manual was written/assembled by our chairperson, Chris P, and it draws on his decades of rallying experience as a competitor, official, and organizer. It is a great place to start learning about this sport of ours or to increase your rallying knowledge and chances of success.

Not willing to rest after completing the manual, Chris also generated a complete set of Speed Tables (along with instructions) to cover average speeds from 10 to 110 kph (or mph)!

We hope you find these documents useful and a valuable addition to your road rally “library,” especially with ASCC’s Rally of the Midwinter Moon only 42 days away. Stay tuned for further updates and thanks for reading!
