We’ve added a new page to the site. Test Rallies will provide information on the short and easy rallies we’ve developed to help new or novice crews gain experience with road rally and to see how the Richta Rally system Competitor app works.

These are short, comfortably-paced rallies with no traps, no obscure instructions, and various CPs to help crews get comfortable with Richta and the look and feel of a regional or club rally. They can be run at any time (as long as we know in advance to assign a start number and provide whatever instructions are necessary) and are free of charge.

Our test rally in the Annapolis Valley has been live for almost a year now, and I drove it again today just to make sure everything was as I left it. With some snowy roads on the higher elevations, it was a lot of fun! I didn’t have the RIs with me so average speed adherence was out the window. Everything works fine, so if you’re in the Wolfville/New Minas/Kentville area take 35 minutes out of your schedule and give it a try.

We’ll shortly have a couple of test rallies in the Halifax Regional Municipality as well, so your choices will increase. If you want to try one of these, contact us and we’ll get you set up.
