Passing the Time

So, as we said before – welcome to our website. We have a lot of work to do here, but we’ll post information as we finish writing and editing it. Guidelines, rules and regs – it all takes time but we’re hoping you’ll come to view this website as a go-to resource for all things road rallying. While you’re waiting for us to get moving, how about a couple of YouTube videos to pass the time?

Red Hen Racing and the Sealed Beam Rally Team are a couple of SCCA rallyists hailing from Minnesota, where there is an active road rallying community. Driving everything from a modern Mazda MX-5 RF to a classic Toyota Supra and an early-’60s Chevrolet Corvair, they produce videos on their rallying exploits and have come up with a decent intro to road rallying.

A couple of caveats on these videos though: the language can be a bit coarse at times and though they try to beep it out, there’s the odd missed occurrence. Also – please remember the rules and guidelines they talk about are SCCA-specific and may not apply to how we do things in Atlantic Canada.
